Sundubu Jjigae Recipe

The Korean cuisine served at Famzitter this time uses basic ingredients from tofu.

We will discuss the recipe for Sundubu Jjigae or we can call it Korean tofu soup. In Korea, the serving of Sundubu Jjigae uses shellfish, mushrooms and eggs. Then add the soy sauce and  served hot.

You can also add a variety of other ingredients from seafood if you like.

There are also ingredients that need to be prepared to cook Famzitter's version of Sundubu Jjigae, including:
  • 1/2 onion, sliced lengthwise
  • 2 spring onions
  • 3 pieces of white tofu, diced
  • 3 pieces of cabbage, thinly sliced
  • Sufficient bean sprouts
  • To taste basil
  • 1/2 lime (take the water)
  • 550 ml of hot water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of flavoring
  • 1 teaspoon chilli bon level 30
  • 1 egg, shake it off
  • 3 spring onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 10 pieces of cayenne pepper
  • 2 curly red chilies
  • 1 small tomato

Step to Cook Sundubu Jjigae

  • After all the ingredients are ready, here are the steps for making them:
  • Saute ground spices until fragrant
  • Enter tofu, stir slowly
  • Add hot water, sugar, salt, flavorings, bon chilli and lime juice, mix well and test the taste. Cook until boiling
  • Enter the beaten egg little by little, stir again
  • Finally, add the spring onions, onions, bean sprouts and basil, stir well, cook briefly. Turn off the heat and serve
