Furikake Homemade Recipe

Furikake Homemade Recipe


  • 30 grams of white sesame seeds
  • 15 grams of black sesame seeds
  • 2 sheets of wide Nori
  • 50 grams of Katsuobushi
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered mushroom broth (optional)
  • to taste Salt, if you want to add a salty taste


  • Toast the white and black sesame seeds over low heat until fragrant and the white sesame browns. Keep stirring so it doesn't burn. Set aside.
  • Store the nori on the skillet where you roasted the sesame seeds. Back and forth. The fire doesn't need to be lit, just use the remaining heat in the pan. Small scissors like making a convetti 😄 Set aside.
  • Pour the katsuobushi into the skillet. Crush it by hand if there are still large chunks.
  • Pour the soy sauce into the katsuobushi, roast over low heat until dry. Continue to stir while separating if there are lumps. Turn off the fire. Add other ingredients. Stir well. Chill.
  • Serve with hot rice. The remainder after cooling is stored in an airtight jar.
