Ingredients
- 300 gr Medium Protein Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 50 gr Vegetable Oil / 57gr Butter
- 200-225ml warm water
Step to Cook
- In a container, mix flour, baking powder & salt, mix well.
- Gradually add water & oil to the flour mixture, stirring until it forms a lump. Add enough water until the dough is combined.
- Transfer the dough to the table / cutting board, knead briefly until the dough can be rounded (no need to be dull). If the dough feels sticky, sprinkle with a little flour, knead again.
- Cut the dough into 8 pcs, make a round, flatten a little. Rest the dough for 30 minutes. Cover with a napkin / plastic so it doesn't dry out.
- Flatten the dough using a rolling pin until it is thin. Heat a Teflon pan (no need to oil it), cook the tortillas until the bottom is bubbly brown (about 30 seconds), turn. Cook the other side until it's bubbly brown again. Lift. Store in a closed container to keep it soft.
