Chicken Kungpao Recipe

Ingredients

A pair of chicken breast, cut into squares
2 handful cashews
1/2 large onion
1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
5 dried red chilies, sliced ​​obliquely
1 spring onion, sliced ​​oblique

Ground spices :
3 cloves of garlic

Marinated spices (mix well):
2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp chili powder
1 tablespoon cornstarch

Additional sauce ingredients:
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon tomato sauce
1 tsp oyster sauce
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
4 tbsp water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
1/4 tsp sugar

Step

  • Add the chicken fillets to the marinated seasonings, mix well then let stand 15 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Heat the oil, fry the chicken until cooked. Remove and set aside.
  • Saute garlic and onion until fragrant.
  • Add the dry chilies + paprika, stir briefly, pour in the sauce mixture (marinated sauce + additional sauce), stir until the sauce boils.
  • Enter the chicken, stir well until the spices are absorbed. When lifted, add the green onion + fried cashews. Mix well again. Taste correction, when it's just right, serve immediately.

  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (dissolve in 2 tbsp water)
  • 4 tbsp cooking oil
  • 100 ml of water
  • 500 ml of water (for boiling vegetables)

Step

  • Wash all vegetable ingredients, drain.
